A gentle knock on the door at eleven
When Jansel, a young man of twenty-seven
Was about to zizz.
Cinella, the flying moon queen entered.
Jansel goggled at her mesmerizing eyes,
His lip-tight but Cinella solicited,
“I want us to have a child.”
Jansel dazed, but Cinella clarified,
“I am the Queen of the Hidden Kingdom in Moon.
We have castles made up of water, fruits that grow on clouds,
A dazzling blue sun, animals who can talk the common tongue,
Mountains constructed of metals with invisible crests,
Oceans of fire, & a magnificent lush green ground but!”
“But?”
“No one has yet walked a single mile. All objects have wings to fly.”
Jansel confused yet intently listening, “All?”
“Yes, from big to small, large to tall, living to non-living, everyone has a wing.”
“But why a child with me?”
“The Legend says that a human child will free us from the curse to fly,
But the man conceiving should have love & not lust in his eyes.”
Jansel quiet for a while instantly uttered,
“Exactly, before the child comes commitment, before commitment comes the love, & love takes years.”
“But we moon-beings can just stay for a night on earth,” sadly confessed Cinella.
After a long stillness, Jansel cheered Cinella
For the entire night, they talked about their world.
Each other’s strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes & insecurities.
At dawn, they conceived a child of love.
At last, Love took quality not quantity years to manifest.
